Natural Surroundings lies on the Bayfield Estate, an area of farmland and woodland spread across rolling hills on either side of the River Glaven in North Norfolk. For anyone that thinks Norfolk is flat, a visit to Natural Surroundings will be a real eye-opener. The ‘Gardens’ area at Natural Surroundings is divided into 20 demonstration gardens, varying in size from the tiny Bog Garden to the more expansive Woodland Garden and Reptile Refuge. All of them lie, however, within the range of sizes found in the vast majority of private gardens, making them easy to relate to.
