Wildwood Trust – Kent Animal Experiences

Head over to Wildwood for some truly unique animal experiences.

Wildwood trust became a charity in 2002. There are plenty of animals to spot here based in stunning large ancient woodland.

They have a series of experiences for you to participate in as well and we have listed a few of those here;

Arctic Fox Experience

Through September and April, you can meet the Arctic Foxes in a more immersive way. You will be able to get up close to these two foxes named Teddy and Flo. You will be allowed to exclusively access their enclosure and you’ll be able to learn about the Arctic Foxes. You will be allowed to feed them their main meal for the day.

Bear Experience

This experience is truly unique and exciting. Wildwood bears are here for you to experience a new type of meeting. You will learn about and meet these wonderful bears inside their enclosure. Scatter some food for them to hunt for and then meet the bears face to face in their smaller enclosure. Here you will have the opportunity to give them a treat for being so friendly. Let them out into their bigger enclosure to then find their hidden food!

Lynx Experience

These creatures are eager to get to know you! These two sisters will be there to meet you when you arrive at Wildwood. They are known as the Lynx sisters, and their names are Cara and Shria. Feed them their breakfast and then learn everything there is to know about these beautiful cats!

Wolf Experience

In addition to seeing and learning everything about Wildwood’s group of European grey wolves, Wildwood Wolf Experiences provide guests with unparalleled behind-the-scenes access to the facility. Participants will learn everything there is to know about this clever animal before coming up close and personal with the pack and assisting in feeding them via the wire fence of their enclosure.
