1. Mam Tor

The meaning of Mam tor means “Mother Hills” which makes complete sense considering how it stands out. The walk up takes anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour depending on how quickly you walk and if you’re scared of heights! It is however completely worth it and we highly recommend a visit.

2. Ladybower Reservoir

If you are a fan of films then Ladybower Reservoir is a must. There is no wonder why it was used as a filming location considering how beautiful it is. If you don’t feel like having a long walk this is the place to go as you can just take a stroll along to bridge to appreciate it’s beauty.

3. Stanage Edge

Wether you enjoy climbing or just want to stroll through and appreciate the view, Stanage Edge is absolutely mesmerising and you will not regret going. Definitely one to post on your instagram to make your friends wish they were there!

4. Bakewell

The birthplace of the delicious Bakewell tart however we’re not telling you to visit this village simply because of this, it is also incredibly picturesque and has an intriguing little museum as well as Bakewell tart shops you can visit at any time.

5. Devil’s Arse

This cavern is actually called Peak Cavern however this name is much funnier. A walk through the cave makes for a brilliant day out, and sometimes there are even musical events in the amphitheatre, contained within the cave.
