There are four massive pumping beam engines, two of which are now operational, as well as a big steam-powered workshop where engineers and a blacksmith may be seen in action. The youngsters may see and feel what it’s like to start a steam engine, while the smaller ones can dress up and play with heaps of Lego. It is also common to have the opportunity to ride on a model traction engine.
